Lorelai 2nd Birthday Party – Minnie Mouse (part 3)


I have sent out the pre-invitation because so many of Lorelai‘s little friends have birthdays in January.

I’m now in a bit of a frantic search for a Mickey Mouse cookie cutter. The only one I could find is plastic and costs R75. I’m so not paying that much money for a damn cookie cutter.

I found this great design via Pinterest for the Juice bottles.

I can either get someone to do the design for me, that will likely cost me some money or I can buy polka dot paper and print the face and just stick them on myself.

I’m still in two minds about the party hats. On the one side I want to make the little ears with bows but because of the fact that boys are invited to the party, I should maybe make the fluffy hats.

The cupcakes will be awesome. I have so many ideas that I found on Pinterest. I know myself the cupcakes will be a last-minute decision.

The cake on the other hand I do not have to stress about, my mother is making it. I gave her 3 or 4 pictures of what I like and told her to pick what she likes and what she will be able to make. This is the cake we are having at the party:

The invite  is a bit of a problem because I can’t find Disney text I can actually use! But I will make do without. The official invite is going out at the end of this month. I’m using a combination of the following invitation ideas that i got from Pinterest:

Almost everything will be made with my own 2 hands! The party will either look awesome or completely crap…
